PM2.5 SIP Development

The PM2.5 State Implementation Plan (SIP) development process is nearing completion. The public comment period for the PM2.5 SIP has begun and will run through October 30. The draft SIP, broken out into sub-sections can be found here. The Technical Support Document or TSD, which is the basis for SIP can also be found here. The TSD is not a part of the SIP, but is a companion piece that serves as the technical basis for the decisions made in the SIP. It describes the emissions inventories, modeling, and control strategies.
