Any employee who sells tobacco products in Tooele County must complete Tobacco Handlers Training and hold a valid Tobacco Handlers Permit issued by the department according to Tobacco Handler’s Regulation #13.

Permits will only be issued to those persons who are 21 years of age (valid I.D is required) and have successfully passed the required written examination and paid applicable fees. The department may prescribe such other requirements, as it deems necessary.

Permits are valid for 3 years.
