Food Safety Manager Information
Listed below are approved Food Safety Manager Certification courses and testing sites for Tooele County. This is a separate certification than the Food Handler Permit.

Once you have successfully passed the exam you will need to register your certificate with the Tooele County Health Department. You will then receive your Food Safety Manager Permit. Your permit will be valid for three (3) years from the date you passed the exam (not 5 years as your certificate may indicate) .
To register you will need to fill out the Application for Food Safety Manager Permit, provide a copy of your certificate and pay the fee to our office. You will then be issued a permit. ***Please Note*** Consult with your local health department for more information regarding location of testing centers. Some courses ONLY prepare you for the approved test but do not provide the actual exam.
